4 March 2010 - Midlothian Advertiser

A horror movie made by and featuring people from Temple and the Moorfoot area is being premiered this weekend. The Undiscovered saw more than 100 people from in and around the Moorfoot Community Council area in producing the film. And as well as being fun for the community, the film will raisefunds for Temple Village Hall, Temple Nursery & Playgroup and a new Temple Film Club.

The Movie centres on a peaceful rural village being disturbed by a horror movie being filmed in the area. Little do the production company know, but the villagers have their own horrible secret to keep. The sold-out premiere is a red carpet event with the stars arriving at Temple Village Hall by 'limo'.

As well as the main feature there will also be another short film ‘A Wolf’s Tale’ shown, as well as a reading of the poem Changing Time, written specially for the project by local poet Ken Angus. An exhibition with photographs, artwork and props from the filming will also be on display in the hall.

This project has really sparked community interest and involvement and at a packed coffee morning in Temple recently a trailer for the film was greeted with great enthusiasm and anticipation.
